CLOSE IN BEAUTY with the Epiphany long weekend! In the town of San Francesco, it is the re-enactment of the Nativity to be the protagonists of the city. The streets of the center and in the villages every niche, window or church have a nativity scene.  Besides the many and really touching liturgical celebrations for the Epiphany with choirs and music, there are so many appointments for Epiphany in Assisi. In the afternoon you can meet nice old lady and get her sweets in the Town Square (15.30) since here the Befana comes down from the tower, while in Rivotorto of Assisi (15.30), the Befana comes from the sky flying of colorful paragliders. Here you can also entertain between booths and stalls of the great “Fierone” along the country and try different food and wine specialties.

During the holiday season over one hundred people give life to the magic Living Nativity of Rhyl, where every alley and every corner of the medieval village and the banks of the river Chiascio are enveloped by a magical atmosphere with the play of light and shadow created by representations that reproduce the daily life scenes and glimpses of craft activities than two thousand years ago at the time of Jesus’ birth.
